This really was an egg-cellent read 🤣 Amy really is a chick I would hang out with! Ok enough puns, seriously though Amy always writes the best body positive romance books, that actually make the reader feel validated. This one was funny as heck, and super cute!

Holy character UNdevelopment 😵‍💫
Look, there was a hot second there where I thought maybe we were getting somewhere with the character development (their date) however, we seem to have backslid to worse than they were in book 1. The FMC (still annoying as shit) has lost most of her spark and is just an illogical hornbag with zero actual substance. The MMC has literally gone from asshole, to brooding asshole. But I’ve gotten this far, may as well see it through to the end 🫣

Not the world’s best narrated audiobook, but it wasn’t totally awful. The FMC was straight up annoying, and some of the spice was just a tiny bit cringe but I do love a demon shadow daddy, so I’ll start the next one 🤣

Feel like being run over by an emotional freight train? Feel like reliving the emotions from watching My Girl for the first time? Read this.

I love Charity’s books. The first 20% was 🔥 then it just fell flat. I don’t know, it wasnt even the content it just felt super repetitive between 20% and 70%.

The audio for this probably detracted from the actual story. Idk, it was ok. Not sure if I’ll bother with the rest of the series though 🫣

Jade West never fails to deliver on unhinged, asshole MMCs 🙌 this one is for those who wanted Praise to be darker, hit harder and growl like thunder.

These guys are like a box of chocolates, there’s so many different varieties to choose from but you secretly know you’re going to binge the whole box 🤣 You’ve got your preppy, neurotic control freak, hyperactive movie star, haunted secret agent (I think, fk knows), grumpy mafia prince, and hot as sin professor. The way I binged this book was bordering on unhealthy! It kept me up turning pages into the early hours of the morning! This is my first Tate & Jaymin co-write but Jaymin never misses on the spice so I was down. Did I go into this expecting a 5 ⭐️ read? No (but I’m pleasantly surprised) Did these 5 very different, morally grey men tingle my box of chocolates? Hell yes, yes I did.

That cliffhanger should be illegal though 🫣 I’ll be starting a petition for book two’s immediate release.

Look, did I love it? No. Was it still good? Yes. I definitely loved book 1 more, I found it more emotionally engaging. Really interested to see how this story plays out in book 3.
