I received a copy of this book for free via Goodreads giveaway! This has in no way affected my star rating.
No rating, because I am not the intended audience for this book, so I do not believe my rating would be a fair value for this book's worth as a reading tool.

I can definitely see this being a great tool for reluctant readers! This book is short and fast, but actually genuinely spooky. Even with its relatively sparse prose, there are some really unsettling images in the second half.

As I read this, I could feel the feminism cringing, squirming, curling up into a ball, and eventually attempting to exit my body through my skin.

This is what I get for picking up manga I know nothing about purely because I have heard the title. At least it was only $1.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 64%.
It wasn't until I read a Reddit thread extolling this book that I realized no one else felt like banging their head against the wall while listening to the audiobook, so I figured it was time to bow out.
