This book comprehensively covered all the issues about work as we know it today, on a personal and institutional level. If you have an unhealthy relationship to work, get started with this one.

There's something about Emily Nagoski's books (and her excellent narration) that I feel lucky to have read them. This is another gem of a book, one that I want to revisit with my partner and add to my collection. This is more than a book about sex, it'll surprise you with brain science, emotional coaching and relationship advice.

This was an informative read, especially about light and watering of plants. The plant profiles could have been packed with more useful tips but otherwise a solid foundational book.

Short and thorough, well laid out with good examples. Not sure what I was looking for here but just wanted to give it a read nonetheless, perhaps for the motivation to overhaul my mornings.

This was more relatable and applicable than Off the Clock but some of it felt familiar. A must-read for working moms and another gem by the author!

This has a lot of inspiration and detailed information but unfortunately I couldn't appreciate all of it as I was reading in the e-book format where the pictures are hard to examine.

Gretchen's books are always uplifting and a breeze to get through but I was a little spaced out during this one, which affected my enjoyment of it. However, I'm more interested to see what follow-ups this book will inspire me to do and I hope it's more than The Happiness Project, which I loved but never put into action.

A well-written exploration of parenting through the lens of polyvagal theory - a must-read that provides information I've not found elsewhere while blending seamlessly with advice from others such as Dan Siegel and Dr. Becky.

I think I read this book at the wrong time. I had high expectations because I love this series but I had to drag myself through it.
