THIS IS SOOOOOO GOOOOD
IM IN LOVE
OMG
Morally grey Muslim characters who (not so) balance sinning and trying to do the righteous path. This is much much more relatable. Yes, I drank alcohol when I was young, but I won't have sex with anyone unless he's my husband. One sin at a time ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

A middle aged cunning pirate woman with resourceful crews~

It was action packed and I love how the villain is written. The supernatural creatures, and the effortlessly diversity๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿฝ

IT LIVE UP THE ADVENTURE IN INDIAN OCEAN BCS WE HAVE SUMATRA AND SRIVIJAYA ๐Ÿ‘Œ NENEK MOYANGKU SEORANG PELAUT SOUNDS SO TRUE

THIS IS THE BOOK I WISH TO READ WHEN I WAS YOUNGER:( OMG THE MANUAL IS SO HELPFUL!!!
It explains clearly the stages of puberty and the changes in our body and mind. It starts with the changes in your brain, how you think, how you deal with emotion. Than your bones, hormones. It also talks about your stress, anxiety. How you deal with menstruation for the first time. What it means. If you're having a girl who's about to grow to be a teenager, this book helps a lot!!! It validates their feeling and make it easier for them to open up and understand their mind and body~

Akhirnya baca ulang versi bahasa Indonesia The Dragon Republic.
Tetep best read sih. It doesn't change any feelings of love I have toward TPW Trilogy. Tetap bikin remox endingnya

Karakter developmentnya ada banget, for better or worse
Lebih banyak aktor penguasa baru yang nyebelin, and it says a lot. This is where the real issue lays. And I always always love the way rfk portrayed these colonizers. It's never not funny๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ

For a book about genocide, it's super page turning.

Misal, Aku suka sekali padamu didn't do justice to Rin's "I love you" to Kitay's "I know."
(Lebih cocok "Aku sangat menyayangimu." Atau "Aku mencintaimu, kau tau".)

Atau

"He's sprung like aโ€”"
"Don't be vulgar."
"Dia menerkam sepertiโ€”"
"Jangan vulgar."
Makanya responnya jangan vulgar.
(Menurutku pribadi lebih cocok "Nezha selalu siap diposisi. Dia berdiri sepertiโ€”")
But that's so technical and not so important ๐Ÿ˜…

Tambahan dikit,
And Rin, for the best part, managed to devour her darkest nightmare.

Fuck Nezha, I love Sring Venka and Chen Kitay so so much u have no idea.

Real question: should I abandon all senses and order the translated version of TBG or listen to the cry of my weakening wallet?

Kebayang banget tipe Mama2 yang kayak apa ๐Ÿ˜† I'm not gonna judge but she's a well written one.

Penulisannya atmosferic banget. It sounds soooo soooo good

Biasanya mereka tidak ingin atau tidak begitu suka dianggap anak-anak, they want to be counted and heard and do things on their own dan agak janggal anak-anak membela diri dengan mengingat bahwa mereka anak-anak. I guess there are other ways to show valuable traits to get out of the conflict. Where's the cunning and cleverness?

Now, let's talk about the plot. Terlalu lompat2 dan honestly there's nothing much they do than running around, accepting that they're kids and ppl will take pity on them. Not so much adventurous as I expected them to be. HOWEVER, this is very very good for younger learner. 5-10yo kids will love this!!! Tapi, yaitu menurutku Mata ini sedikit terlalu besar untuk penggambaran karakter seperti ini dan plot yang begini ๐Ÿฅน for me, it will be perfect if Mata is 9 or 10 yo.

Pace storynya juga not my favourite si... Diawal terasa lumayan lambat tapi diakhir2 cepet banget. There are lots of potential to be explored.

BUT I DO LOVE THE FANTASY. The magical creatures and whismical places ๐Ÿ‘Œ

I love reading middle grade books and I think they're capable more than just running around and sneaking out. Face more challenges and explore more traits ๐Ÿ˜‰

A light enjoyable read, I'm still going to read the next title, tho ๐Ÿ˜†

I never feel this enjoyment of reading memoirs before. I love Junko and her husband ๐Ÿ˜ that's how a family should be. It reminded me that one tiny act that we may not know realized could affect someone in a huge way, like what Junko's teacher did earlier. It brought the idea of not giving up and bravery to start!!!

It tells a story of a legendary ballerina who didn't give up on dancing. She's into dancing from day 1 and never really stopped. Despite her struggle and illness, Alicia kept going and she actually lived a long happy life as a dancer. Her contribution to the ballet world was highly noticeable, especially in her hometown, Cuba. It was eye pleasing inspirative story. I enjoy this a lot!!!

Just found out that Fonda Lee co wrote this graphic novel~
A fan of the art ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
And since I'm novice to this, I enjoy the story so far. Finished in one setting~
Plot wise, it's a bit jumpy but it's alright
