Where the Library Hides by Isabel Ibañez
4.0
I enjoyed this sequel to What the River Knows. This one, though extremely enjoyable, was not as good as the first. I enjoyed the few twists. It just felt very repetitive in some of the scenes between Whit & Inez.
You Shouldn't Have Come Here by Jeneva Rose

The writing was meh. I think I would have liked it more if something else happened. Like some of the end parts here are clear, so it would have been nice to see more sinister actions by said character.
Bury Your Gays by Chuck Tingle

This book was a hot mess in my opinion. At some points I could not even follow what was happening. The random scenes written like a script slowed down the plot. It was fine.
The Grey Wolf by Louise Penny
5.0
Louise Penny does it again and again and again. It blows my mind how complex the mysteries in her books are, but everything gets fleshed out. There is no half a** plot lines.
Cannot wait for book 20 in 2025!

This Is Where You Belong: Finding Home Wherever You Are by Melody Warnick
3.0
I feel like this book started strong and then slowly went downhill. Eventually, I felt like I was just constantly reading "research" and endless anecdotes from other people. The author jumped around from anecdote to anecdote, which honestly made me lost track of what she was even doing herself in the chapter.
I am happy I read it, but I would not recommend it to everyone.

If We Were Villains by M.L. Rio
5.0
Reminiscent of The Secret History, If We Were Villains is about a group of students who are overly close. You know someone dies. And you know who is arrested for it.
But everything else in between-- unfolded slowly and perfectly.
