Amaleigha Loves a Good Story by Janice Pratt
5.0
I really like the Amaleigha stories. While I do not have little children I think these books would be enjoyed by children under the age of 9. In this story Amaleigha decides it is important that the school library doesn’t have enough books for non English speaking children and sets up a plan to get more books. Amaleigha is always helping others or making them feel better about themselves. Such a great way to show children how important it is to care for others.

This story is about brother and sister rivalry. There is a good flow and the characters are likable. There is a strong moral to the story and the illustrations are wonderful. I would definitely recommend reading this story to children.

The illustrations in this book are cute. Having read books by this author before I knew to expect a fun story for children. The author did not disappoint. Caspian uses another one of his Un-birthday gifts to deliver a cute tale about an alien kitty. Grandpa joined him and off they went on an adventure.

This was on mystery that I was so absorbed in I forgot to eat, sleep or do anything but finish the story. Needless to say this storyline was gripping. The characters are well developed and the plot was really interesting with many twists and turns. I absolutely loved the author’s writing style and look forward to many more by this author! A perfect example of a riveting story with a mysterious bent!

This story sums up what every parent wishes for their child. It is a lovely story told in the style of a poem. This is the perfect goodnight book to read to your child. The book has beautiful illustrations and really brings home how much a parent loves their child. Defined worth the buy as it will become one of your favorites to read to your babies.

A wonderful tale about a young girl with an amazing idea to turn something she lives into a place everyone could enjoy. Some people find a precious gift and hide it away where only they can enjoy it, but Amaleigha chose to share her special place. This would be a lovely story to read to your children and teach the lesson of sharing. The illustrations are beautiful and the story is amazing.

This one is a very short read. I do
believe there is room to make it a full story. When I say short I mean 7-10 minutes depending on how quickly you read. The characters could become characters the reader would come to care about. Anyhow considering the length and the characters and story as they are I would say it was both entertaining and disappointing. I wanted more backstory, more twists and turns, more character interaction and more story.

Very good read! I loved that the main characters, Raine and Will, were not only well developed but also relatable in a way that makes the reader laugh, cry and become involved with their story.
This novel was a paranormal thriller of sorts, that had many twists and turns. The plot puts Will and Raine together to investigate paranormal crime. My only critique is there are a few threads of the story that seem to be left hanging. I hope that means we will see more in book 2. Overall a promising start!

With a Spunky & sassy heroine this book is a great start to a new paranormal mystery fairy tale set of with the added bonuses of romance and humor. Dealing with ghosts and other paranormal events, Elinor is snarky and audacious. This is a well
Developed book with a complex storyline and wonderfully fleshed out characters. I look forward to the next in this adventurous series!

This is a great anthology of some really wonderful Christmas stories. They are all quick, easy reads and really bring home the heart of Christmas. While each authors story is unique to them, these stories will leave you wanting more and ready to celebrate the season. Each story, while having its own plot, has amazing character development and storylines. If you want something to kick start the holiday season this collection is definitely worth the read!
