Really boring and passive. Author skips over showing important scenes in favor of having characters talk about it later which was annoying. As I was reading I was between 3 and 2 stars. I figured if the ending was good it would go 3 stars. With how bad the ending was I almost dropped down to 1 star.

Best book I've read so far this year!

I really wanted to like this book, but it ended up being a big meh for me. The beginning and ending are 4 star but the book suffers from a very saggy middle. It could have been half the length without losing much.
