This was too slow. Even compared to wandering in. While a book in a Wandering in series has two thirds which are set up for the last third. This whole book was a set up for the last hour. Why the finale was great, there was no epilogue, no ending really. The end of the book was really jarring and sudden.
Still a very good book though, if you are in a mood for something from the world of wandering in.

The first half was a bit slow, but the second half overcompensated for that. I just want to read the sequel right now.

I am speechless.
On one hand I am glad I read this book because it was amazing but on the other hand I wish I have never read it because it was honestly terrifying. It doesn't help that the fictional world in this book is in part very similar to the real world, just on a different scale.

I almost gave up on the series after finishing the first book. The first book didn't speak to me like this one. It was good. Maybe even great, but I just... It was missing something for me.
I loved the previous books in this fantasy world, like Swordheart, and Clockwork Boys. So, I was really disappointed when the Paladin's Grace seemed like it wasn't as good as the books before it.
It looks like each book in this series will be about a different paladin, which I didn't know before, but it is a great idea.
So glad, I didn't drop this series and read this book. It was amazing.
