Didn’t hit like other Stephenson books. Might get the second book in the series on sale or if I’m in a reading lull.

Worthy of the hype. Also much different than what I was expecting (I came in blind). Some parts were slow but incredible world building and stories that will stick with you.

Average read. Liked the beginning premise but it didn’t get fleshed out like I was hoping. It’s an approachable, easy read.

I enjoyed this book… was thinking of making it a four-star read but bumped it up.
Why?
I genuinely looked forward to reading more, every time I picked up the book. It’s a magical adventure with some sci-fi, pop-culture here and there, fun moments throughout. What’s not to love?

Some interesting concepts in here that makes you think. I enjoyed it but knock it down a bit due to the density it had at times.

Pretty lukewarm on this. Decided to pick up this book after taking a large break after reading book one. Things definitely expanded out from that book to this. Felt like real consequential things happened in the last 15%? Which makes me think what I got out of that first 85%. It’s a toss up whether I tackle book three… I probably will after a little break in getting some reads I am excited to dig into.

Amazing book, so much goodness in here. I’ll need to re-read.
