This book was highly recommended and I get why: the MCs are charming and the different periods of US history were interesting. BUT this book cemented the fact that I deeply hate second-chance romances, even when I'm enjoying everything else in the story.

This book was fun, but it needed at least one of the following: 1) MCs 10-15 years younger to make their immaturity believable 2) 100 pages less, or 3) more mature moments between the MCs other than having sex 24/7

This story was pretty great, I just wished it wasn't so meta about MM romance novels.

As always, a great short story from this author.
