This book was perfect. The angst, the world building, the two MCs!!! I loved everything about it. I had this book on my TBR for a while but I didn't start it because I was scared it was going to be too dark for my tastes. Instead, it didn't focus too much on the "darkness", it focused on the consequences for the MCs, making the story angsty in the right way.

I'll also add that I love when authors are competent in what they're writing about. It's difficult to find fantasy/paranormal/thriller romances with a believable political plot. This book was perfect in this regard, I completely believed the world building and the reasons behind the MCs action. On the topic of the author's competence, there's a scene with two side characters, a mathematician/physics and a engineer discussing. And obviously the mathematician was making fun of the engineer for approximating pi and g, which as an engineer myself I found hilarious and it's absolutely a conversation I had in my life. It's a small inconsequential scene, but it explains well the care the author had behind everything.

It was weird seeing the MCs fall in love when their bodies are switched. But it's definitely a me-problem, and not a book-problem

It was a cute story, but definitely too low-angst for my tastes. Also I didn't understand
the MCs choice of becoming farmers. It was a bit out of the blue, and also risky for two men who grow up as nobles

First of all, this book feels like 100 sport romances I've already read. But still, I stuck with it. The MC didn't have that much chemistry and there was zero tension between them. The last straw was one of the MCs identifying as "demisexual", when a few pages prior, he said he wanted to "taste" the other MC the moment they met.

This was a nice read, but compared to the previous book, it needed more pages to feel like a complete story. But, it's not that easy to find t4t romances, the representation was great with a cute story

Not 5 stars only because I'm not 100% sure 1 pov was the right approach for this story. Still, it was great. I generally don't care that much about seeing MCs from previous books, but Roman completely stole the show.
