The Kingdom of Back by Marie Lu

The read was just like warm butter you follow Wolfgang Mozart's sister "Nannerl" while they are young rising prodigies. She is well on her way when her brother shows he has an ear for music. And we all know who mazart is so obviously he's good. While this is her brother and she is torn between pride and envy because, Nannerl knows she is just a girl and has her place in life and will never have HER music out there.
Thus one night she makes a wish and Hyacinth comes to her promising to help her with her wish of never being forgot as long as she helps him, but all is not as it seems. The character building is beautiful and the pictures are painted so elegantly in your mind I for one did not expect to get teary eyed in this book, but geebus she did it.

This book is phenomenal! The first few chapters was a little rough for me to get thru but it was so worth it. There are so many great lines out of this book. I just fell more and more in love with Morris! I'll take one too please.
We get to go through some of the hard ships She has for just being a black girl and how people look down and think she doesn't belong just because of her skin color. Then Morris stumbles into her hidden library and she learns not only that they aren't so different but she learns too love and live.
I suggest this book 167%

Just kind of eh. Like it leaves me with questions but it was just not much action, it leaves it open to have action but it's mostly. "Who am I really? Is he lying to me? Does he care do I care?" Like really no romance a little bit of fighting. But like seriously nothing but sneaking around doing magic.

A bit of a slow start while you are learning about everyone but once you get about half way it starts getting interesting then the end. Like literally the last few sentences. *Boom*

Silas made this book. Like Elisabeth was suppose to be the main character but do not be fooled it was always Silas.
