I so enjoyed the twist of the curse when a mermaid does not return to the ocean in time when she is human. This story kept me pretty interested but I also feel like it was a little rushed at the end. You get build up and back story and then they defeat the bad guy in like 4 pages.....tho the kind of happy ending for one and not the other kind of broke my heart. YOU TOOK EVERYTHING FROM HER!!

I was a tad nervous going into the second book in this series because I had head so many good things about the first and it was kind of a flop for me, but this one made up for it . We had mystery, growth, treasure and just everything. You get to see why things played out the way they did and had a bit of a twist in who certain people were. I was so blown away. BUT THE. CLIFFHANGER!! I NEED TO KNOW NOW!!!

Oh this cover is really what sucked me in to reading this, but once you get into it. It creates this beautiful world and retelling of Tristan and Isolde takes you there on glorious wings. Getting to follow an adventurous princess from the highest Kingdom in the sky who just knows she's destined for great things is swoon because of a raven bastard and the secret they share, but there are so many secrets surrounding the dove and the raven. This series is going to be a nail biter

I enjoyed this so so much. I could not put it down.

Wayyyy better than the first one

I seen people say this is a scarier grown version of Harry Potter but other than the titles of the creatures and a young boy being the main character....I don't see it.

ALTHOUGH I really did like this book.
