Tried three times and never could get in to it. Something about the way they spoke of the women just turned me off

Parts of this book I really liked and the others left me questioning. I have a hard time with the main characters action matching her age. I don’t know even with the rough childhood she was asking more like a 18-20 year old than a 14-15. The plot was also kind of jumpy and hard to stay focused on.

Wow this was absolutely incredible! This allegory is spot on for the current state of affairs on so many levels. Also many times through this story I would hit lines and Wicked would start playing because the tropes are so similar.

I loved every thought provoking moment of this book. The characters were rich and full of many layers, the world was unique, and the over all story was full of so much.

What do you do when everything you have fought to attain has been built on lies and deceit. Do you find safety in compliance or find hope in truth?

When top notch Hound Kembral Thorn, decides to enjoy a night with no obligations. Especially wanting a night to feel normal after being a single mother with a new born. That is until she finds herself trapped in a time loop of epic proportions after everyone at the party mysteriously dies. She is tasked with not only solving the mystery but saving everyone at the party and all versions of echo realms. Each realm down things get stranger and the secrets bigger.
Gideon the Ninth vibes with an incredible echo reality world building. Fantastic storytelling and characters. This has me hooked from the first chapter always guessing what was going to happen one echo down.

A story of love, family, and courage. Nour’s family has been through many trials through the years but her between her father’s stories and her mother’s maps she goes on a journey not only discovering many things about herself but as well as the truly important things.

I have a hard time with second person POV. Maybe try as an audio book?

I thought going into this book it was a middle grade fantasy but it is far from that.

This dream department store makes the reader think about the importance of dreams. Each chapter delves into a different type of dream and using Penny (the FMC) to really unpack the importance of that dream.

It’s beautifully written and I love the plot development moving between the dream world and the waking world.

I loved the dual perspective of this novel. One in the form of a letter flashing back to the relationship, and the other in the present to move along the plot.

The character arc of the FMC is original due to the nature of the letter flash backs. You are able to see the internal growth as she moves through her relationship discovering that it was more abusive than she originally thought.
