Have you ever wondered what it would be like if nature tried to devour you whole after a ✨pleasure ✨  session? No? Well, now you don't have to wonder—just pick up Swallowed by Meg Smitherman!

This is a planet colonization attempt gone wrong as the crew discover the beautiful planet might have nefarious plans for its human inhabitants. Swallowed offers a blend of sci-fi, love, erotica, and horror of the botanical nature.

After reading Thrum and Swallowed, It's clear that Smitherman captivates readers with themes of psychology and isolation, as well as her visceral and haunting prose.

Another hilarious and steamy addition to the Goliaths of Wrestling series. Vince and Crossbody have such *tension* as they go from enemies to lovers.

I appreciated the vulnerability explored within their physical relationship, and the way they let each other in as things progressed. The motel scenes were hot and the motel staff had me cackling (though I'm unsure about seeing that character more after this book). I enjoyed leaving Goliaths and the human world for a bit and finally seeing more about the lizard mafia.

The story felt a bit repetitive in the middle right before the couple officially got together, but a decent installment.

*Thank you to the author for the eARC, plus I also had the honour of beta reading an earlier version.*

Tips & Trysts is an exploration of power and connection while providing a fantastic balance of plot, characters, and spice within the framework of a rom-com.

Cora is an educated woman of colour who is a fantastic camgirl. She takes no prisoners and looks damn fine while making the world her bitch. Beside her is a politician, Everett, who kneels and begs for forgiveness while empowering the beautiful woman who owns his soul.

Because I know everyone loves a good bullet list and I can't do this review justice. Read for:
- meticulous prose
- beautiful descriptions
- impeccable banter
- cackle-inducing text threads
- screamworthy elevator scene
- emotional vulnerability
- a myriad of delightful insults
- a multitude of piercings
- lots of banging

OKAY. I love a slow reveal series with a tangled web of characters and reveals. Everyone seems suspicious and nobody is safe in this dark why choose mystery thriller romance—it's a lot of things and does it well.

The next installment of the series picks up right where book one left off and provides more backstory, some delicious spice (still slow burn, but HOT), and some reveals. Personally, I also love cliffhangers—or gamechangers as someone I know calls them—but be aware that books one and two have doozies.

Luz! My lady! She holds her cards close while slowly letting some of the Blackwells in. What we learn of her history explains her action and inaction, but you best believe she will right wrongs.

I make no apologies for how invested I am in Everest. That Italian loafer wearing cinnamon roll psycho has me in his perfectly manicured—I assume, this feels canon to me—fingers. He's the perfect balance of unhinged and sweet. Though... Lucian is climbing the ranks.
