it’s a modern take on the epistolary novel, and it’s a quick, easy, entertaining-enough read. if you want a break from the weight of prose, while still reading Adult material (yes, there are mentions of sex and drugs and the like), then this is a good option. it’s got some heart but not a lot of substance. which is okay, if that’s what you’re looking for.
