Good plot idea but in my opinion it was poorly executed.

Pros:
A good plot twist
Loved the spicy scenes

Cons:
-“She’s not like other girls”
-The frequent use of the word “bestie”
-Unanswered question about Kip
-The unending amount of PTO used despite being set in the USA
-Repetitive lines
-ChatGptesq descriptions
-Did I mention the use of the word “bestie”!?

It just couldn’t hold me in the story at all.

It was… fine? I guess? Very surface level. Characters weren’t fleshed out. The MMC has no real personality. It’s not so much a romance… maybe if it were dual POV. If it wasn’t going to focus on an actual romance then I wish it would have focused on her self discovery after surviving an abusive marriage.

Also who can find an apartment and a job in LA in 3 days!?

I read a post that it did not have a HEA and I am not ready for pain.
