I liked the 80’s summer camp vibe. But with over 500 pages I would expect to know the MMC more. And 10 kids per counselor sounds like its own nightmare.

I almost wish we had the same book but from Kayde’s POV.

I so begrudgingly read this series. I officially hate the word “virile”. Ick.

I was unfortunately obsessed with their character growths that bettered their relationship.

I wanted more time with the swing tho…

Ugh this couple is going to stay with me and yet it had one of my only two triggers; OW Drama.

I couldn’t fully read the second book it made me so sick.

I hate that this series is going to live rent free in my head for the rest of my life. I just feel it. I’m about to go into a book hangover.

Less spice in this one and more plot.

Let me preface this by saying I am primarily a dark romance reader. I like to slip in the alphahole sports read every now and then so with the Audible sale I picked this one up.

The narrators were fine until they tried to do the other gender’s voices. For some reason the female narrator gave all the other female characters an Eastern European accent??

Otherwise, it just wasn’t angsty enough for me. The MFC and MMC didn’t actually have to hide their relationship at all.

I do love the “he fell first” and the “no third-act breakup”.

So if you’re looking for a sweet hockey romance without a lot of drama this would be great for you.

Me? I’m all about the drama.

-No OW drama.
