Fully in love with all four main characters. Every time I think I've decided on a favorite character or duo, I realize that I'm actually not capable of playing favorites. Tell me why I was giggling over a shooting range date with a known killer though?? Kuxtal Academy exits within such a cool world with believable and wonderful characters and I am low-key pissed that I have started a series I immediately love with no access to the next book to devour. 🥲

A great start to the Mages of Oblivion series! A little bit tough to get into initially with a lot of terms and set up but by the time Iliana and Selene made it through the bride show I was sold. Love Marduk and Iliana so much!

The way this absolutely WRECKED me. Sobbed through the last 2 chapters and then for a while after I closed the book (tbh I'm still crying as I type this). I don't know what else to say right now but I think this book is exactly what I needed to read.
