lots of interesting ideas! do any of them get developed or given the time they need? no! however this book very much falls into the “books that are trash but they are my trash” category. if you want a book that makes you go “wait what? when? how? are you serious?”, this’ll work. also RIP this book, twitter is a central part of it lmao

I felt like I could not put this one down! I think I ended up finishing this in about a week, and thoroughly enjoyed it all the way through. It can be real heavy at times, but it certainly pays off. Give it a try if you like horror and being constantly thrown for a loop!

also Mr.Cullins is my fav. what a king.

A variety of interesting stories about transfemmes AND fantasy settings? Oh hell yes. I really enjoyed all of these short stories, and every authors own take on how being trans would work in their fantasy setting. While the book isn’t “perfect” in a technical sense (minor spelling errors in some stories), I didn’t end up minding. It filled me with that trans joy we don’t always get in fiction.

Short and thoroughly enjoyable. While flawed, I really loved the central characters and how they interacted with each other. Definitely worth the couple hours it’ll take to read!
