Really solid second book in this series! I got through it in like, 3 one hour reading sessions, and couldn’t wait to pick it up again. Spooky and grim, but the odd collection of character make it so much fun to read. Definitely worth a read if you enjoyed What Moves the Dead!

i feel like it took until 60% of the way through for anything to happen. ending felt abrupt and without much explanation, which isnt necessary but in a thriller where the whole conceit is “oooo whats happening in the house” i would KINDA like to know what happened in a bit more detail?? also not a fan of the
“twin sister of the dead wife ending up with the husband and her being pregnant at the end”
trope. as my friend so accurately said, ✨ew✨

A mix of informative content and personal reflection, which was not really what I came to this book for. Like many others, I was a bit confused at the complete lack of discussion about how the kids of these mom influencers feel about being center stage in a lot of mommy influencer content. Also, lots of repeated info throughout, I think another round of editing for conciseness would have done wonders for this book.

Solid instructional book! Beautiful photography throughout, nice examples of various types of terrariums one could make. Would have liked a but more care information on some of the plants that were highlighted, but overall a great primer!

it sure is. a book. listen to it on audio book with my partner, and we had fun with it, mostly because the narrator did a pretty fun Italian accent for the Salvatori family and Elena is so annoying that we both just looked at each other and groaned. it was quick at least haha
