This starts as a very classic isekai then the main character is turned into a villian by everyone around them. For... being the shield hero? So they can rob him? Then he instead of being a good guy and trying to prove he's a good dude he buys a slave child to help him because he needs a party member. Bad things happen to him and he is responding to those bad things but also I don't love how he decides to respond to them. This series just is not for me.
the main character gets acussed of raping a girl which he super didn't do then becomes a villian and buys a raccoon slave girl.

This is a fine manga. It's really just about a man just wanting a second chance at life. And when he gets it he just wants to be a famer and left alone. That's all fine I was less into the more non con element of this
where some women come into his life and just decide he will be the father to their children. And he doesnt get a say in that at all. And he even says they do not hear him speak against it they are helpful to him but he doesn't have a say in impregnating them
I won't continue with this series but it's fine.

I love the art for this and I'm sad I cannot stick with it but these boys do not seem to like each other AT ALL. I do not understand their relationship at all. I through they might just be overly nervous about being caught as gay and a goofball but the uptight boy is kinda a JERK. I just cannot. Them springing the were gonna get married when they don't even touch. Nah I'm okay.

Meguru Hinohara is the absolute best and I stand by that. Therapy Game and this are top tier. This is such a good small snack of a series so far and I am hopeful for a volume 3. This silly little dragon water God needs to get his bride and finds that a man has been promised the position. The man in question is such a sad guy until he meets Rin and the rest is just history. In this volume they make so much progress in their relationship and also personal growth. The art is top teir and also the story is great. High recommendation to any BL reader and this is a soft entry into monster romance.

This is fine it's just so boring. Nothing really happens but it is an extremely soft romance where not a lot happens and that's very not for me.

This graphic novel was way better than I expected it to be. I don't read ya/ middle grade very much and this blew me away. The story, the information I learned about Jewish culture and religion, and even the variation in strictness that practicing Jewish folks follow. There was so much in this the art, the stories, the character beats. Just wow, you should read this.

This is a very good book about a woman I never knew existed. This is a fun way of reading about historical people, this narrative non-fiction was engaging and interesting. Her life was not happy or easy but I was interested from start to finish with this. Worth reading, especially if you are a New Yorker and have been or are going to go to the Morgan Library.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 9%.
I just don't like Zoey. I couldn't get past her not knowing what she owned or what she was in charge of and needing a feet of men to help her run her life. I may have just needed to read more to get to a place where she did but I just couldn't get there with this. There is other books that do capitalism is bad better in my opinion and it might just not be my humor and cup of tea. But I just can't with this one
