The Fine Print by Lauren Asher

This book really made me realize that I have an unhealthy obsession with cold and mean fictional men.

The grumpy/sunshine—with a little bit of I hate everyone but you—trope this book has is everything. The banters? Those devoured me. Dual POVs? An absolute chef's kiss. And a slow-burn enemies to lovers romance? I'm a sucker for that.

Aside from the book dedication, which I absolutely love, the characters really had me so engrossed the whole time I was reading. I really love how complex their personality is, especially Zahra, who's such a ray of sunshine but actually has something behind her demeanor. I know it's toxic, but I also loved Rowan's one-step-forward-two-steps-back personality because it really made the book more interesting. His backstory also made my eyes misty and made me understand how he became a misunderstood villain in the story. But on another note, where can you find a man who will watch the 17 film adaptations of Pride and Prejudice just for you? *whispers* Because I want one too.

I love this book so much it's kind of embarrassing how it made me grin the whole time.

"You don't have to be so tough, you know. Everyone has a right to worry."

The Plight Before Christmas is a newfound holiday book favorite!

The character dynamics, the comedic banter, and everything about this book ate me up!!! It's by Kate Stewart so, I already know that this is not the typical holiday cutesy book that I usually read, but I did not expect it to be this EMOTIONAL. Also, Chapter 25 is *chef's kiss*.

At this point, I feel like Kate Stewart already has my heart in chains.
