I can finally be rid of this series that’s had me in a chokehold. The series is a bell curve, it gets good, then it goes back downhill. BUT if you like unhinged soap operas, you will enjoy this. It makes no sense and it’s problematic often, but damn if it isn’t entertaining.

I struggle with the dark themes and assault/captivity, but the story honestly wasn’t bad. I do like the main character’s resolve and the fire in her soul.
