Looking back, this was actually an adorable read and I apologies for my past self being so busy it effected my lovely hobby 🤪

The only reason I gave this a low-ish rating is solely because of work 💔 and the fact that it took me one ??? two full weeks ??? to read Lucky Cupid and it's just over 100 pages 😭

Chill, tortured, I should've read the blurb beforehand because I thought Alex was gay 🤦🏻‍♀️💀😅 

I went into this thinking... 
• besties rekindling their friendship 
• while on their trip, Poppy ran into a rival journalist* 
• Alex knew the dude Poppy had a rival with 
• back and forth until ✨ happiness ✨

Basically I THOUGHT THERE WAS SOMEONE ELSE IN THE STORY 🤡🤡🤡 But no lol

*travel something something, I forgot, sorry!

Only when Poppy and Alex hugged in the airport I was like "hold on, hold on—WHO WHAT WHEN WHERE WHYYYY" and restarted the whole thing 🤣 

So... I definitely need to give this a reread in the farrrr future 🤪 lol

Who knew a Moth-man could be so adorable? 😅

Sweet Berries follows the story / romance between Grace and Merrick, and after an interesting first meeting... (iykyk) the rest of the book is a cute, fluffy, chill read.

But ‼️ because this had such low-stakes and a guaranteed HEA, the story did drag through the middle and when nothing new was happening—no new events, parties, interactions outside of their day to day life—it did end up loosing a star for me 🥴

It was still a solid read and I'm keen for the next book!
