Amazing such a vivid world with deep characters! Knocked of half a star because there was. A moment we were on side quests that felt slow because I want to get back to the main plot but boy when we got there is was fantastic. I love Tar, Jeet, Kirah and Dayo. The world was so well built and I believe I’ll get even more out of it when I re-read! I can’t wait to see what they get up to in the next instalment the stakes are high!

Went in not knowing much about the premise of this book was an impulse buy because £5 for a book while I’m shopping? Why not.
I wasn’t sure what to make of it at first because I really felt no connection between the heroine and our supposed love interest, I didn’t like him at all. I also think the relationship between Arianna and her brother was cringey at times, like I get it your twins and you protective but no need to be creepy about it. I like Cameron Ari’a bestie and would be excited to see more Brady over Mason. I think the introduction of the characters could have been better and don’t even get me started on the cringy dialogue but overall I found myself pleasantly surprised.
One thing that will always get me is the mum plot if you know y’know I just can’t with it I cry every time. I loved Noah I do wish there was some more fight towards the end but can you really blame the man? I mean com’on!
The story was very dramatic and the characters read young but it was a hard draw between them feeling young and the dialogue sounding like an older person. I knew where the story was heading when a certain incident happened you did to right? Normally I would have hated this direction but it was fine it felt there just to add drama and to make the book longer. This could have been 300 pages and the whole third act missing and it would have been a sweet book about first love and finding how you need to be loved but the third act did feel forced.
I love the family and friend aspect, loved Noah and enjoyed the drama enough to overlook the flaws. If your looking for something dramatic it say this is a good bet it’s read fast for the length but I would say go in knowing there maybe some cringe ahead ❤️
