Wild Hunger by Suzanne Wright
5.0
Suzanne Wright was as amazing as always! With witty characters, an interesting plot, a mystery villain, and a paranormal love - this book is sure to be a favorite for fans of Wright.
While reading the Phoenix Pack Series, I liked Trick, but I was never salivating for his story. When I realized this story was going to be Trick's, I was not super excited. Of course, because it is Suzanne Wright, I was wrong! I really loved it.
What did I love? Well, mostly it was Trick and Frankie together. They had great chemistry, were cute together, and just worked really well together overall. I know Wright uses a type of formula when it comes to her heroes and heroines, but I think she mixed it up a little with Trick and Frankie - read and find out how!
The plot was good, if simply formulaic (compared to her other stories). It seemed as if the plot took a minute to take off, but once it did, all I did was try to figure out who was the villain.
What else did I like? I liked seeing more of the other characters - they are always great. I hope Bracken's book is next, even if it is in another series.

Dragonfire by Donna Grant
5.0
All I’m going to say is this: I am now going to start the first book. I had never read any of Donna Grant’s books but I can’t wait to start! This book has everything I love - dragons, magic, magical realms, and romance.
There were a few things I were a little confused about, but mostly because I haven’t read any of her other books. So honestly, if you wanted to read this as a stand alone you technically could, but I would not recommend it.

Echoes of Fire by Suzanne Wright
5.0
This book was wonderful, of course! All of Suzanne’s Wright’s books rock! Bracken was everything I love in a hero and Madisyn just killed it. Their chemistry was smoking - I don’t think any of her shifter stories really top Bradisyn’s chemistry. Although I thought Bracken would end up with the margay shifter (her name is escaping me right now), I can’t say I’m disappointed he ended up with Madisyn instead.
I feel like this story had a little more activity - plot wise - to it than some of her more recent stories, which is great. I loved how the romance was balanced by the rest of the storyline. Sometimes with authors, becuase they have their own formula, it may seem like you’re reading the same book with different names. But Suzanne changed it up a bit.

In a Badger Way by Shelly Laurenston
5.0
In a Badger Way can be summed up in three words: hilarious, adorable, and action-y!
The humor is always a constant with Shelly Laurenston and I swear there were parts I thought I was going to die laughing at!
I love, love, love all aspects of Shen and Stevie's relationship - especially the way Stevie could not see past Shen's adorable panda-ness to his lethalness. She just decided they were dating and that was it!
The great thing about this book is that the plot moved along. There was enough action in the story to keep the story moving, but not so much that it became boring and took away from the romance. I think this is one of the few stories I've read that have had a perfectly balanced action and romance relationship.
