My Roommate Is a Vampire by Jenna Levine

Cute, quick read. I feel like the author rushed the ending and was trying to add a little drama/action when there didn’t really need to be. Or, at least could’ve used a bit more interesting drama.

I’m not sure why everyone hates on Cassie - she’s a fine character to me. I don’t think she lacks depth; in fact, I feel like Cassie was the highlight. Honestly, the book was such a quick read (even though it was over 300 pages), that I think it was the rest of the book that lacked depth.

Don’t let this scare you away - this is a great read for those who want to read a Halloween/fall seasonal book, but don’t want to get bogged down with supernatural creatures, death, uncertainties, and drama. It’s, as I said before, a cute, quick read.

Oh my gosh, I love this book! The world building was amazing. I can’t wait to get more of the characters and the world and to see what’s going to happen next.

I didn’t much like the spatula vignette, but overall these were quite enjoyable and funny.

So glad Nabiki got her own little vignette! The rest of them were okay, with my second favorite being the one with the poison sisters.

I feel like the fight scenes are drawn out a little bit too much and almost prefer the releases with multi-vignettes. Not all of the multi-episodic chapters are bad, but this one wasn’t my favorite because of the drawn out plot with Ranma and his mother. That being said, it was still funny and entertaining.

This was a great balance between action, humor, and scenes with Ranma and Akane. I really like this release - there are multiple multi-episodes, which is better than a bunch of one-shot episodes and one long episode, in my opinion.

Pretty great ending to this episode! I love the development in Ranma and Akane’s relationship! Poor Ranma - he really has trouble expressing himself.

This one is quite great! We get to see Ryoga and Ranma really being friends, slightly more depth to Ranma and Akane’s relationship, and of course the humor is on point.

We get to see a ~little~ bit of emotional range in Ranma!
