Neil is truly a master! Everything he writes is just so well-done. This book brings the Norse gods to life without overwhelming newbies; it’s super conversational, amusing, and informative.

This is a cute, adorable (redundant, I know, but so true), and light read. It's such a wholesome read and gives nothing but good feelings and is so relatable. Viv just wants to do what she loves and find her little niche - who wouldn't relate to that? The only downside is that the story ended rather abruptly, and as such, is a little lackluster compared to the rest of the story.

Finally, finally, finally! It’s only been three books, but it feels like it took forever for us to get to this point! Don’t get me wrong - I’ve enjoyed the ride, but I’ve been so impatient for this moment that I’m a little giddy that it’s happened.

If Goodreads let us, I’d give this 4.5 stars. It wasn’t bad, per se, but even with so much action, it still seemed a little slow. With the third part of the book, however, everything RAMPED up and became so much more interesting (it finally happened!!!). So, I liked it well enough to bump it up to 5 stars here. I’ll probably jump into the next book soon!
