Such a pretty, personal and cozy scifi novella! The setting was amazing, the characters real and the over all message was heartwarming and reassuring.

Wow, just wow!
This is such a unique story!
Equal parts heartwarming and sad and a bit tense.
I really love how Meghan Davis choose to write about a happily married couple (with trials, mind you), I feel like those characters are very underrepresented in fiction.

I have also never read a novella so well written in terms of pacing like this one. Normally I crave more, but this was just perfect even though it is small in pages.

Very well done, can't wait for more stories by Davis!

Wanted to read it for the roller coasters (which are very well represented), finished it for the heart warming queer coming of age story that tackles many important themes all while on a roadtrip through East USA.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 0%.
Not what I expected.
Tonaly not my thing, plot was kinda boring.
Not enough roller coasters to have a roller coaster cover tbh.

Finished this chuncker with a disappointed feeling.
All that I loved about book 1, the mystery surrounding certain characters and the massive theme of faith and the sort of deconstruction of Gabriel, were suddenly dissolved. After which this book felt way more superficial, action and "want" based than its predecessor. And because of that, the big emotional moments fell flat for me.

Maybe my interest in this series was too much based on my own life themes (faith and deconstruction), and that falling away made me loose interest. So maybe that is just me. But reading is subjective, and I wanted to be swept away again and I just did not get that feeling again. So thats the 3🌟 for me right now.

Easily written, just a plain bad book with unrealistic polt jumps and unrealistic characters.
