Did not finish book. Stopped at 5%.
I really disliked all the condescending language used for no reason.

This was so good....
I was in total agony the first quarter of the book, I really hated almost all of the adults...
And most of them don't really get any better.
But Lampje shines.

Only flaw I think is the ending, it felt really abrupt. Not a bad ending, but it was just capped off very suddenly.

What a weird and wild story!!
Not as creepy or as gory as I thought, also, not really horror, but with some horror elements to it.
A mosaic of interconnected storylines that go into strange places.

I finished this book in two days, something I rarely do. I was completely sucked in for the first 2/3 of the book, but I felt kinda disappointed in the last part. It was just more of the same. I hoped the trainwreck would be more of a trainwreck, it was definitely built up to be a massive one. But it just kinda fizzled out?
Point of the story: people do not change, or are really punished for their actions. And thats what I disliked about it.

Alright, this was not what I hoped the sequel would be and I miss the vibes and fairytale moods of the first one.
But it was not bad, not at all.

There's a lot of interesting details and theories and thoughts in this book, and I must say I learned a lot. But it skips a lot from one (sub)subject to the other which made the reading experience a bit messy and disjointed.
But once you get used to that writing style it is an interesting book which poses interesting and never before known (to me) theories about autism in women.
