I did not care for the characters in this book, so it put a huge damper on my enjoyment. Amy and Olivia are supposed to be best friends and I just don’t see it, they are both terrible to each other.
Then there is  a second chance romance, secrets, and underdeveloped characters to truly make the whole story not my cup of tea.

If you want to be traumatized by KH again and turn pages frantically looking for more pain, this book is great. If you think the coincidence of too many things happening is too much, maybe skip it? This was a hard read and I feel like it was just A LOT.

This is a fun crime/ mystery with some great women characters! It’s a slower moving story as you follow the “queens of crime” characters solving the crime. The narrator is fun but her voice didn’t pull me into the story and the story didn’t keep me wanting to read more. It just wasn’t for me but could see how many would enjoy it.

This book was weird in the best way.  The story was heartwarming, action-packed, mysterious and there was a little bit of science fiction. The characters are incredibly complex and there is great character development. If you took an S.A. Cosby book, Where the Forest Meets the Stars and Stranger Things with a gay main character, this is what you might get. I enjoyed the ride!

A counselor, mother, and author is dealing with negative reviews and trolls for her debut novel.

I enjoyed the story and the audiobook was great. Some of the internal monologue seemed to drag on but the story progressed at a great pace. This was a fun listen and definitely could be relatable for the social media age we live in.
