This is a difficult book to review for me. So let's start with an anecdote.
When my first pil did not work for me, and I talked to my doctor about it, we decided to switch to another pil. I asked if we could wait a month because I had exams and I didn't know how I would react to the new pil. My doctor said that she feels sorry for me because I had this fear of switching and that it could make such a big difference for me.
Now reading this book, the big bomb about the pil affecting in more unknown ways dropped less hard. Saying that, it feels good to be taken seriously. However, the book doesn't really change a lot for me, as it shares hypotheses, but little is proven. A lot more research is needed, and some seeds are planted here, but it can not really prove most. I think it is an important first step, but not yet mind changing. I would love to see what theories will hold up and be proven and which not.
