God what a train wreck. This book was so long and like very little happened…? This book did not need to be so much longer than the others.

Jacob is a manipulative ass. Sorry not sorry Team Jacob folks. Forcing himself on Bella—repeatedly—when she has made it very clear she only likes him as a friend: gross. Threatening to kill himself in the battle because he knows it’ll make bella kiss him: double gross. Consent is a virtue Jacob, let’s try to learn it huh?

Alright, 3/4 through the series. One book left. Let’s go to a wedding!

God, Bella is either the most insecure or stupidest person on the planet. I mean it’s probably both, but the insecurity makes me a sad so I’m going to think she’s stupid. Bella and Jacob’s friendship is sweet (but knowing what’s coming makes it weird). The Romeo and Juliet retelling was annoying (but I hate R&J) …and really Edward, what’s so special about Bella? I can’t remember what happen with the Voltaire so that will be interesting.

I am unwell.  This series has me in a literal chokehold in the absolute best way.  Every time I think I have something figured out 15 other things happen and i'm left scrambling trying to figure out what's going on.  I still do not like Helene, but am more comfortable reading her POV now.  Laia and Elias deserve happiness and to be together and I will die on that hill.

LOVE!! Completely sucked into this series, I loved it very much. Laia is amazing and very and Elias are pure perfection. Fuck Mazen and honestly fuck Helene too. I think that Helene is going to have a redemption character arc, but I’m over here and do not like her at all. Can’t wait to read the next one.

Cute, ultimately heartwarming story but nothing fantastic. The twist at the end (
with Eleanor being a ghost the whole time
) definitely got me, but for most of the book I was super annoyed with Dickens. It was interesting to see him basically turn into Scrooge and then back into his Christmas loving self while writing the book. It was a quick read too. Probably not something I’ll read again, but a cute Christmasy read.
