As a beginning runner, I was excited to get through each chapter and wake up the next morning to run. Things I had never even thought of were discussed (pooping on the side of the road), and it helped me understand the trials I might face once I signed up for my own long distance race. I didn't find any of the information too specific to motherhood, since the book kind of skims over family life and marriage. It was enjoyable and for novice runners like me, I would recommend it.
