If you’re in the market for dark romance, fantasy retelling, or even just good smut, I’d recommend you go literally anywhere else. I did not read this expecting substance but I’ve truly read fanfics the same length that were much better written.

I liked this one a lot more than the second in the series, but not quite as much as I liked the first! It was cute and fluffy and overall a fun little read ☺️

I really liked the concept of this novella a lot, I think I would’ve liked it more if it had been longer with more time to explore the plot a bit further. I’m not surprised this has won the awards it has though, it was certainly a very unique read and I’d definitely recommend if you need something interesting, short, and fast-paced. ☺️
