This novel had some grit to it, and I liked it. What Trace and Delaney went through was incredibly sad and unfortunate. The depth of betrayal ran deep. In the end, I appreciated the dynamics in the various relationships presented.

The most interesting part of the story related to Trace and his brothers. The family dysfunction angle worked well.

This fast-paced read was perfect for a weekend starter. It was amusing just as much as it was hot. The story was light and fluffy and had enough playfulness to keep things entertaining.

The scene that devastated my heart... when Rhodes broke the news about Aurora's mother. I could not stop the tears from coming. It was raw emotion that was communicated in that scene and beyond.

MZ knows how to write the best stories that have deep emotional arcs.

This YA was so charming! The characters were fantastic. The fake dating/love triangle, the D & D/drama lovers, the movement to save the Spring musical, the parental issues- all of it worked incredibly well. This story is exactly why I love contemporary YAs.

I adored this story. It was so emotionally rich. The backstory for each of the leads was heartbreaking. What the two enemies to lovers found in each other was beautiful. This gets a hearts-and-stars rating. I will revisit this story often.

My Favorite Quotes:

"Home is where you are. I would go anywhere for you, if you wanted me to be there."

"I don't know anything about relationships...but I know I love you. I know I've waited my entire life to love you..."

Please tell me is a series. I liked the roommate/best friend. I want him to find happiness and success all the way around.
