A Love Like Ours by Becky Wade
5.0
WOW! I loved this book. I did not want it to end. Lyndie and Jake are delightful characters who draw you into their story. Lyndie is a sweet character with a heart of gold who loves to save. Jake is working through PTSD from his days as a marine. He is referred to as Tall, Dark, and Brooding. You just have to love that! Within the book there are several great themes and sub-plots. I always reflect on life and enjoy Becky Wade's stories. She has many funny scenes to offset the deepness of her topics.
The book is part of a series Porter Family ,but is a standalone novel. I highly recommend this enjoyable read, as t is well worth your time! I am keeping my copy to reread!
I received this book free from the author and Bethany House Publishers for my honest review which I have given.

Akiane: Her Life, Her Art, Her Poetry by Akiane Kramarik
5.0
After reading about Akiane in Heaven is For Real I was curious to learn more about her. I was thrilled to be able to review Akiane: Her Life, Her Art, Her Poetry by Akiane Kramarik. The book tells of Akiane's life and how her family came to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. It is a fascinating book of an ordinary family with an amazing story.
I enjoyed the full color pictures of her art. It was interesting to see them in the order she created them as she got older. I did not know she wrote poetry and found it very inspiring and it drew me to the Lord. It is a beautiful full color book suitable for a coffee table or to be left out in your home for others to enjoy. My children have all enjoyed looking through it.
I highly recommend the book and visiting her web site. https://akiane.com/
I was gifted a copy for review by The Book Club Network (bookfun.org) for my honest opinion.

Little Seed: A Life by Callie Grant
5.0
Little Seed: A Life by Callie Grant is a beautifully illustrated board book for children. My children loved the pictures and have asked me to read this over and over to them again. The illustrations are engaging and the words dance across the page.
This book tells the story of a seed that falls to the ground, lays dormant through the winter and then grows into a plant. The book celebrates the seasons and celebrates the Lord and creator of all!
I highly recommend this book for children ages birth to five years old.

Waiting for Your Prince: A Message for the Young Lady in Waiting by Jackie Kendall
5.0
My daughter and I read Waiting for Your Prince by Jackie Kendall. We felt the book encourages girls to deepen their relationship with God and say "yes" to Him, to wait for God's best and not fall for jerks, and encourages girls to save themselves for their future husbands.
Jackie Kendall uses the biblical Ruth as a role model for girls to learn from and gives them a picture of what a Proverbs 31 woman is like. She is passionate about what she writes, she shares life examples, and her writing is warm and friendly.
This book is very engaging and draws you in. The author makes excellent points and she has a helpful discussion guide for the reader and her parents at the end of each chapter.
My daughter loved this book, and it encouraged us to have some great discussions.
We highly recommend the book!
