I enjoyed this! A nice holiday romance that incorporates Christmas but at the same time, isn’t too holiday-heavy. I think it could be read any time of year. I wasn’t blown away, but I liked it.

I became interested in this book after hearing Zoe Whittall speak about it at an event. I’m glad I read it! It kept me wondering what was going to happen next. I think most of the things I didn’t like about the book came down to personal preference.

This one took me longer to finish because the depiction of body dysmorphia, especially at the beginning, hit me really hard.

Mona Awad writes like a fever dream every time and I love her for it.

Creepy and fun at the same time—just what I so often want out of horror.
