FOR THE LOVE OF STEAM!! This has definitely been the smuttiest novel I’ve read— and I mean that in a good way! Aside from the smut, I really enjoyed this clan of characters. Zaf was dreamy & honestly the perfect man in my eyes. I think I liked him a lot because of his openness about mental health, specifically mental health issues in children and men— which is important to me. I liked Dani but goodness, she annoyed me sometimes! I definitely felt more connected to Zafir, rather than our main gal Dannika.

Also, the diversity in this book? *chefs kiss* 🤌🏼💋

If you love smut & funny romance novels— 10/10 recommend. If smut makes you uncomfortable, definitely skip this one!

Did not finish book.
Y’all... I wanted to love this one SO bad! It seems like people either love it or hate it and unfortunately I was the latter.

I got about 62 pages in and I just couldn’t get into the story. I decided it was time to pick up a different book.

Oh well... all books aren’t for everyone and that’s okay ☺️

I’m not big into thrillers and mysteries but this was SO GOOD! It was hard for me to put down at times because I couldn’t stop reading! The story is heart-wrenching and it’s so well written. I loved Rachel’s character so much— I wish her podcast was real! Really an amazing true crime novel! The only part I disliked was that there’s so many characters and it’s told from technically three points of view so it can get confusing. BUT OVERALL 10/10 RECOMMEND!!!

Loved loved loved this cute YA romance!! A high school romance surrounding grilled cheese & Twitter isn’t something I would classify as readable but honestly this was just too cute!! It took me about 1/2 way through to realize when put together, their names make pepperjack cheese & honestly that makes my heart very happy 🧀

Did a quick buddy read with my mom on this one. It’s an illustrated graphic novel type book, and it’s adorable! This would be perfect for all ages and we thoroughly enjoyed reading it. The pictures are beautiful and the facts are so fun.

I removed a star because I felt like there could have been more facts and birds featured. There are so many birds out there, I wish I could’ve seen more in this book!

This was a cute, fluffy, holiday romance!! I thought it was fairly average up until about half-way through, and then I ended up really enjoying it for the last 1/3. I really liked Laurie & Sarah’s friendship, it reminded me a bit like my best friend and I. However, I really didn’t see what they saw in Jack sometimes??? He was an okay guy by my standards, I’m not sure what they saw in him tbh!!

Overall I recommend & I think it’s best to read this one in December (duh 🤪

With The Fire On High is such a cute YA novel!

I loved Emoni's character development, especially when she talks about how she isn't ashamed of being a teen mom.

I also love the diversity throughout the book, mainly Emoni embracing her Black/Puerto Rican heritage.

I LOVE cooking and being in the kitchen, so it was fun to read about Emoni's love for cooking and food.

I removed one star because I felt like something was missing. I'm not sure what more I was looking for, but I just feel this one is incomplete somehow. I just don't know how to describe it.

Overall, a great read and I definitely recommend!

This ARC was provided by the author in exchange of honest review.

Such a fun, quick romance!

This is my second book by Skye Jordan and I'm a fan! I really enjoy her storytelling and her descriptions, specifically of the ~steamy~ assortment.

First of all, in the first book of this series, In Too Deep, KT was my favorite character. So, I was thrilled to learn that this book, Going Under, was all about her and finding the love of her life.

Speaking of the love of her life, Ben is SUCH A DREAM! He's such a good dad and I love his character so much. Kat and Ben together are such a perfect couple.

I removed a 1/2 star because it was WAY TOO SHORT! Give me another 100 pages, or 50 at least! I also wasn't a fan of how easily Ben got jealous... it was a bit silly at times.

Overall, I highly recommend! I think I liked this one better than the first one!

Thanks again to the author for providing me with an ARC!
