Very good I'm so glad I splurged and bought this one. I grew up on Dolly Parton and going toplaces like Silver Dollar City so this was perfect for me. And I just found out it's the authors debut which impresses me even more. Well done!

This is probably one of the best books I've read this year. It was very difficult for me to read as somebody who was queer and grew up with a lot of religious trauma and in a cold as well. I hope that this helps heal me from my trauma and I hope that it heals a lot of other people as well. It was very well written. I normally don't read young adult books because I feel like I can't relate to them but this I could definitely relate to in a heartbreaking way. Thank you for giving us a voice.
