Immensely interesting story about finding a new planet with life on it, going there, discovering and influencing life as is. Nothing is as easy as it first seems.

It is about language being an importan part of culture, but that hides and hints at cultural depth.

But it is also about what it is to be human and about faith or lack thereof.

Absolutely worth reading. Mabye mainly for young people (as the heronibe is young, and a bit naive) but also enjoyable for us a bit older.

Siri P. develops a whole new world and the reader has to wait a long time to understand what is the plot. I like that.

For a while I thought she was going for a romantacy but she's not!
