this was dark and beautiful. unlikeable main narrator who also draws you into caring about her... I finished this book in one afternoon because I wanted to know what happened. feels well resolved in the end if not entirely satisfying

I loved this story so much as it played out over letters between operatives on opposite sides of a war fought through time. this pulled at me and had me deeply invested. I love yearning romances and this gave me what I need.
