the teacher comes off really weird. like, nah. the way the teacher was interacting with these high school girls made me real uncomfortable. he acknowledged that he probably shouldn’t asked a question way back in chapter 2 when he was interviewing the vampire, and i appreciate that, but it still made me quite uncomfy. and the rest of the weird behaviour wasn’t really acknowledged. sad because i was interested in the blurb/description, but i was let down.

damn, this book made me THINK. i usually shut off during books, but this one i read slowly, tried to take it in. and it paid off. i really thought about it, thought about how i interpreted it, what i could take from it, which i don’t usually do with books. i don’t reread books, but this is the type of book that i would want to read again.

alrighty, just gonna quickly copy and paste what i wrote earlier

i found the story very interesting, but i found the writing style very hard to understand for me, it was nice but i found it quite hard to get my head around what the book was actually trying to say. i didn’t really understand what was going on, only really managed to pick up the basics of what was happening. i liked the story, but i feel like because of the writing i missed out on a lot of hidden details that would make me appreciate it more.
