I get why this is a two book series but I think I just wanted it to be a standalone. I was having similar thoughts as I did to Serpent and Dove

This books was long for no reason.  All the descriptions and repeating of stuff just dragged it out. Honestly was just reading for the fae part which came about a quarter of the way through but our MC was so clueless about life that we had to go through the rest of the book with her not know why they had such an attraction. As much as I thought this was not good, I will l read the next book because I just want to see what the fae is like
