The MC is so incredibly unlikable for a large chunk of the book. I wouldn’t say I enjoyed reading it. But it was very interesting, compelling, and thought provoking.

Feel like I need to reread this several times to really grasp all the connections the author is making. Lots of new information and really interesting!

This wasn’t bad, I just didn’t find it very compelling / I wasn’t particularly interested. Unsure if I wanna read the sequel.

Read the first 2/3s with my kids, and they seemed to enjoy it. They abandoned ship for the last bit, but I finished and liked it.

Note to self: try not to take big breaks in the midst of reading a book with kids, they never want to pick it back up. Sigh!

Gotta agree with other reviews I’ve seen saying that the main characters seem like they should be a bit older /not teens. But otherwise its cute.
