WOW

Had some interesting bits, but there were equally a lot of parts that didn't feel suitable for an introduction to the topic! I just didn't understand the way some things were explained.

Bits of interest here and there, but on the whole sadly boring.

[DNF] after 82 pages. I just wasn't hooked or immersed in the world at all. More tropey and teen drama elements than I was expecting, so it really just wasn't for me. (I'm ok with these things but not when they feel stronger than the world-building, and that's what this felt like to me!) I tried to give it a chance and was hoping to get a few more chapters in to see more of the plot once it got going, but I'm honestly just bored. So! I'm putting it down.

Finished reading with a smile on my face and that lovely warm feeling in my soul. I'd say that's a sign of a pretty good book.
