This didn't do it for me. It has a great premise, but I feel that the author didn't go deep enough. An infinite library of lives....and Nora never chose to rule the world? Meet an alien? Cure disease? Seemed like just a twist on "It's a Wonderful Life". Maybe because so many people were loving and suggesting this book just got my expectations too high.

I would give this a 3.5 to 4. It was interesting, but at times moved a bit too slowly. I think that was the point though...to show the dragging out that life sometimes does. A bit depressing for the first book of the year.

A heart-wrenching, reflective, and powerful novella.

A great premise, a great story, a great trip to the Middle Ages. I'm really enjoying Crichton's writing lately.

A very enjoyable read! As usual, the pulpy cover doesn't connect with the story. The ending wasn't the best, but I enjoyed this relaxing, easy read.

I really enjoyed this novella. No one is perfect. No relationship is perfect. This was a good little slice of reality.

Ok. This was a lot. My first thought was that this was a solid 4. It's satirical. Making fun of the whole world of Trump essentially. It started ok, but then went all over the place, only to end up...in the same place? So this is a 2 or 3 for me. The last half wasn't that enjoyable and I found myself just wanting it to end.

This was a good one. I'd never heard of this ship or Albanov's story. I love a good stranded ship tale.
