If He Wanted To, He Wood by Tanya Lynn

Is it a literary masterpiece? No.
Did it deliver exactly what was described? Yes. She does indeed have sex with trees who turn into humans. It was a short and silly book. It was mainly porn. So, if that’s what you are into, that’s what you are going to get. I liked how even though the book was short, each character had their own personality. I didn’t feel like I was reading and the same guy multiplied. And unlike the pillow one, I am rooting for them to be happy together.

Not in Love by Ali Hazelwood

Ali Hazelwood has charmed me once again. Another five star read and I am once again obsessed. Once I start reading one of her books, I cannot put it down. I finished it in one day. I relate to Rue so much. Honestly, a scary amount. I fear Ali Hazelwood is stalking me and based her on me. I am in love with Eli. I have nothing bad to say, only good things and she is probably my favorite author.

I thought this was a really well put together collection of essays. I think adding in the interviews with each author also added to the stories being told. It is a new perspective to see how strippers live their lives and work. A lot of the things they discussed aren’t things I would’ve guessed is how strip clubs and stripping worked, so it was very informative and brings a new view on this section of the world.
