A bone dog, an almost nun, a warrior, a fairy godmother, a necromancer and two quirky chickens walk into a castle...

Reading this made me happy.

Honestly funny. I’ll try anything Vera writes.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 9%.
I started this and found it very confusing. I don’t typically go for more philosophical stuff so that makes sense for me. I ended up forgetting I had loaned it from the library and it auto returned. I will not be checking it back out.

I had a terrible time. If I could remove this from my brain I would. If you’re considering reading this, don’t.

Such a unique way to tell a strange story.

This was a fun, silly, cute romantasy. The tension was delicious, the storyline is interesting, and the banter and internal monologues are funny.

I cried. A lot. But in the best way.

I don’t think you need to have read the first two books in the interconnected series, but I do think the little bits of crossover meant a little more having read them first.

I hate this book with the fires of a thousand suns. Bella can’t decide the sparkly red flag or the hairy red flag. She manages to gaslight herself in to thinking everything is her fault, and honestly I’m ok with her feeling that way. She deserves it for being a shitty person. Also the weird save your virtue to get into heaven stuff? No thank you.

It was fine. The “twist” was very predictable and it was way too insta lovey for me. Her internal thoughts were repetitive. We get it, he’s hot.
